In a Google search of my name, there are 8million+ matches of which probably only 2 are actually about me, 90+ matches on LinkedIn, and hundreds more in Instagram. Out of the millions of Joannes out there, doing many different things, I needed a personal brand that would reflect which Joanne I am.

This personal branding project was born out of my desire to be a graphic designer with a strong sense of intention in my work with a clear grid layout and strong colours that reflect my artistic and introverted self as a designer, thinker and storyteller. One of the main components to this work is a flexible lettermark which can expanded into a wordmark and used for many different applications from letterheads and business cards website favicons and social media posts.
